What is GetSpnsrd?
A sponsorship matchmaking platform that helps Seekers present clear opportunities and businesses discover partnerships based on fit, location, audience, timing and contribution.
Who can create an opportunity?
Sports teams, athletes, event organizers, charities, community and student groups, creators, podcasts, tournaments, local initiatives and small organizations can express interest in creating one.
What types of sponsorship can I request?
Cash, products, services, food, gift cards, equipment, venue support or a combination.
Does it cost businesses anything?
No. Businesses join, browse and connect for free.
Do Seekers pay?
Free to create a profile. Any Seeker listing fee will be clearly disclosed before an opportunity is published. Final pricing has not been set.
Is sponsorship guaranteed?
No. GetSpnsrd does not guarantee a match, contribution or outcome.
Does GetSpnsrd process or hold sponsorship payments?
No. GetSpnsrd does not currently process or hold sponsorship funds. Parties arrange contributions directly under their own agreement.
How do businesses find relevant opportunities?
The planned directory lets businesses filter by category, location, support type, timing and requested amount, then compare listings in a consistent format.
What should a strong opportunity include?
A clear organizer profile, dates, location, audience and reach, the precise support needed, decision deadline and realistic sponsor benefits.
What does a sponsor receive?
That depends on the agreement. Examples include event visibility, content placement, product sampling, community participation, access or reporting.
Can charities and youth teams use the platform?
Yes. They should still describe the sponsorship as an exchange of value and follow all relevant consent, safeguarding and legal requirements.
How are users and opportunities verified?
A final verification workflow has not been implemented. Users should perform their own due diligence; any future verification indicator will state exactly what was checked.
Who is responsible for the sponsorship agreement?
The Seeker and business are responsible for confirming their own written terms, contributions, approvals, timelines and deliverables.
What happens if someone does not deliver what was promised?
The parties should follow the dispute and remedy terms in their agreement. GetSpnsrd does not guarantee performance. Future platform support policies still need to be finalized.
How do I report a suspicious listing or user?
Use the contact form and select the reporting topic. Do not send banking details, government ID or other unnecessary sensitive information.
